Nashville

We went to Nashville this past weekend to see our neice Elizabeth graduate from Belmont University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. It was great to see the family up there supporting her. We got up there Friday night and ate dinner then went to the graduation. Fallon did really well for not having a whole lot of sleep before it. We did have to leave the graduation early because Fallon started to get upset every time that the crowd cheered because she was extremely tired. So we grabbed a little more to eat and headed to Jonathan and Denise's house. Fallon didn't sleep well at all that night. On Saturday, we took Jonathan and Denise out to breakfast at this awesome little restaurant in Dixson. It was good. Then Saturday we all went to Benjamin's and spent time with them. Heather decided that she wanted to take out all the balloons out of the storage chest and Fallon learned that balloons can be a whole lot of fun too. Heather and Fallon played so well together. Studying each other and trying to figure each other out. It was so cute. We came home Sunday and got Fallon a walker. She started to enjoy it when she decided to eat everything that was in front of her.

She is really growing up so fast. She now reaches out to different people to be held. She likes to play with balloons and she likes to talk. The grow up right before your eyes.

Problems

It has been awhile since I updated my blog. A lot of things have been going on around here. Fallon has had some bowel issues and have had a lot of tests done to see why she has blood in her stool. She doesn't seem to be in pain but they are still finding blood in her stool. It's a very scary situation. So I am on a diet of no milk products, no eggs, no soy, and no nut products. It's a very hard diet to keep track of. Soy and milk are in EVERYTHING. I feel that I have let down Fallon because according to the GI doctor, her diapers are never supposed to look like what they have been looking like and that her diapers are the result of GI stress from an allergy to one of the foods that I have been eating.

I have to stay on this diet for atleast a month until her next GI appointment. We have some tests to do without taking her to the doctor. I hope that the tests start to show some new improvements in her health and well being.
